The Dental Section provides dental consultation, oral examinations, preventive, promotive, curative and restorative dentistry. It also implements a special dental care program for kids. It is equipped with a MSD III Microfocus mobile-type Dental X-ray machine which aid in the diagnosis of dental condition.
Function of Dental Section
- Administrative - to conduct the affairs of the dental service in accordance with the established administrative procedures of the hospital. To keep and maintain proper records and submit necessary reports.
- Consultative- to act through customary channels in an advisory capacity on all problems related to dental health of the patient.
- Clinical - to render professional, diagnostic, preventive and treatment services to patients in accordance with concepts of modern scientific dentistry and to evaluate these services periodically.
- Educational - to participate actively in the total health education program of the hospital; to orient the medical and dental staff in the problems of oral health as it relates to the total health care of the patient.
